During the 29th and 30th of October, OIKO, in collaboration with its partners CSI and CIBOLA, organized a workshop for the validation of the Technology Needs Assessment (TNA) report and the presentation of the proposed action plan for each of the prioritized technologies within the framework of the project “Updating Technology Needs Assessment and Designing a Technology Action Plan for Ivory Coast.” The workshop covered the following sectors:
Energy sector: energy efficiency and the use of solar panels.
Waste sector: use of methane systems and production of briquettes, biochar, and biocharcoal.
Agriculture and Forestry sector: reforestation, agroforestry, development of resilient vegetable and animal species, and irrigation systems.
Water Resources sector: establishment of sustainable urban drainage systems, early warning systems, and the use of smart capture-based water management systems.
