Under the UNEP framework contract “Provision of economic and public financial management expertise to climate adaptation projects in Africa and Asia for both Anglophone and Francophone countries“, OIKO is pleased to have been awarded a new assignment in Maldives: Climate Public Expenditure and Institutional Review (CPEIR) under Maldives National Adaptation Plan, spanning from January to June 2025.
The Climate Public Expenditure and Institutional Review (CPEIR) will examine the linkages between the three spheres of:
- national climate change policy;
- the institutional structures through which policy is channelled and;
- the resource allocation processes whereby public funding is made available for the implementation of relevant projects, programmes and policies.
